Come take a seat in Cheryl’s chair, where nearly five decades of experience meet unmatched passion and creativity. Cheryl began in the beauty industry at 19, graduating from Brockton Beauty Academy. That’s 48 years behind the chair, 42 of them as the proud owner of A Cut Above.
Her clients enjoy her deep expertise and her boisterous personality, warm spirit, and a truly full-circle salon experience. She’s especially known for permanent waving, advanced cutting techniques, and finding creative solutions to any hair challenge. Outside the salon she’s all about family: two daughters, three grandchildren, and cheering on her grandson at his motocross races.
A passionate professional in the hair industry since 1986 and a proud graduate of LeBaron Hair School, MaryEllen has built a reputation for excellence, especially among mature and senior clientele. Whether you want a sleek, modern style or classic glamour with big, backcombed volume, she delivers.
Before her career in hair she worked as a nurse’s aide, which gives her a compassionate, hands-on approach. Outside the salon she enjoys the beach with her husband and two children, and heartfelt conversation with everyone she meets.
A 2017 graduate of the Bristol-Plymouth Cosmetology Program, Ginna loves hands-on, detailed services — men’s haircuts, special event makeup, and all types of hair extensions. She holds certifications in every major extension method, plus Brazilian Blowout and Keratin Treatments.
Outside the salon she’s goal-driven and adventurous, often planning her next trip abroad or attending events with live mediums.
A 2020 graduate of Rob Roy Academy with certifications in Brazilian Blowout, Masters of Balayage, and Keratin Treatment. Brittany focuses on beautifully blended, lived-in color and keeps growing through ongoing education in lived-in blonding techniques.
Outside the salon she keeps up with pop culture, reads psychological thrillers, and loves time with her family.
A 2023 graduate of the Cosmetology Program at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Vocational Technical School, certified in Brazilian Blowout, Barbicide, and Malibu C treatments. Meadow specializes in custom colors and unique, personalized cuts, with a focus on lived-in blonding and alternative haircutting styles.
When she’s not behind the chair you’ll find her exploring antique shops or enjoying a good movie.
